In short, to get a proper game, set the resource multiplier per player to 2/maxplayer. That
should ensure that games have the proper pacing, at the cost of having much, much less kit in them - basically, marines and kharaa would be forced to battle each other rather than each others turrets.
Someone here could probably also tell me if I'm completly off with my speculation, too :-)
