thats it. every time i want to open a model i ahve to uninstall and reinstall it, then manually open the file by selecting file-> open ... >_<

anyone know a fix?

downloaded, installed, it opens the first time
but not any other time
>_< i dont know whats going on :S

had a similar problem, but it wouldnt even run hlmv. still havent found out how to fix it since i sold off my old comp and got me a brand spankin new one <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

strangest thing is, it used to work quite fine, as i used to reskin my models.
but now neither of them run

i can right click run as administrator and it works ... but yeah.. :S

Did you install anything lately? eXeem lite perhaps?

Set ALL files in hlmv folder to read only, it might be writing something bad in the files.
