Graphic Problems

<div class="IPBDescription">Graphic problems</div> At first i have to say that my english is not the best and if anything of my text sounds strage to you, it might just be my mistake..
Well, I ve been playing NS since years, and never had real problems with it. but right now, there always appears an error message on startup:
"display doesn't support downloadable gam" (its not game, it really says "gam")
All colours of 2D graphics like the stats-table, buttons, sprites, etc are wrong or missing...
I don't really know what i should try next. I dont have these problems with other HL-mods, I did not modify any files in the NS folder, or installed new software at all.
I also have a previous installation of annother NS version, and it shows the same errors!
I would be very pleased if anyone of you guys could help me, even if you just give me some hints, what the problem could be!

I found the same problem again:
Kendrick posted it as <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=86892' target='_blank'>Ingame too dark</a>.
To make helping easier i linked the threads..
Nobody has an idea?

Ok, now i tried typical debugging stuff. i completly removed ns and reinstalled it. i changed my graphics driver and even the monitor and soundcard drivers...
it's confusing. NS has always been working fine, and from one day to the other, these errors appear..
