<b>About</b>
The map consists of 16 starting places behind grates. Everyone will join and start behind these at which point they can go gorge. An admin will then open the gates and the first gorge to out race, manuever and generally push his way to the finishing post will win <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
<b>Information</b>
The race will take place, Tuesday 25th January at 8pm GMT (UK Time). Their will be a total of <b>3</b> races. We will have 2 initial heats of 2*14 gorges racing. The top 4 from both teams will go through to the final.
First Race: 8pm
Second Race: 8.30pm
Final: 9pm

DO NOT SIGNUP UNLESS YOU READ THESE RULES VERY CAREFULLY<ul><li>By signing up you are saying you are free to play between 7.50pm-9.30pm GMT (uk time)</li><li>You agree to email the admin (admins @ brywright . co . uk) if you are unable to play</li><li>All signups must be done via Bry's Forum by replying to this news article ( <a href='http://www.brywright.co.uk/nsforum/index.php?showtopic=1559' target='_blank'>http://www.brywright.co.uk</a> ) in the format of:

All signups not in the above format will be ignored.</li><li>There are 28 positions open with 4 sub positions and it is NOT done on a first come first serve. The admins will pick players based on numerous factors after allowing all donators in.</li><li>Racers will be announced at 7.51pm GMT so make sure you are online in irc by 7.50</li><li>mp_blockscripts will be set to 1 . Do not signup if you can't play due to blockscripts</li><li>Custom skins are allowed</li><li>You must be able to connect to irc.quakenet.org #bryns by no later than 7.50pm gmt (ideally 7.40pm gmt) so we can sort everything out and call it subs if needed</li><li>You must not be banned on the server, see <a href='http://www.brywright.co.uk/ns/bans' target='_blank'>http://www.brywright.co.uk/ns/bans</a></li><li>If you are not on irc by 7.51pm GMT you will be replaced by a sub</li><li>Games to start within 5 mins of scheduled time if you are having problems you will be replaced</li><li>Races will take place on Bry's NS Server. The server will be passworded and the pass will only be made avaialble via irc. <b>Do not signup</b> if you do not ping well or are able to play with a bad ping at 195.149.21.203:27015 or 82.138.247.145:27020</li><li>You may <b>download</b> the map <a href='http://www.brywright.co.uk/downloads/files/index.php?dir=natural-selection/maps/ns/fun/&file=ns_gorgerush_final.zip' target='_blank'>here</a></li><li>The admins reserve the right to change/modify these rules at any time and for any reason</li></ul><b>Race Rules</b><ul><li>Leaving the starting line as any alien lifeform other than a gorge will result in you being disqualified.</li><li><u>Building</u> any type of building (chambers, hives etc) will lead to you being disqualified</li><li>As such you are not allowed to get any sort of upgrade e.g. celerity</li><li>Admin's will use a setres script to ensure you have enough res to keep regorging (incase you die)</li><li>Abuse of the admins or players will lead to you being disqualified.</li><li>Winners are decided automatically by inbuilt teleporters transporting the first 4 people to separate pedestals. If you are one of these winners you must remain in the pedestal until the race is over and the admin says you may go.</li><li>The admin may ask you to record a demo if so this must be done (record name in console)</li><li>You have unlimited lives and will respawn as a skulk each time you die so dont forget to go gorge!</li></ul><b>Prizes</b>
Top 4 Final winners will receive a gorgerace icon on our group of servers.
Winner shall recieve free donation status for a month (if a donator wins he will get a month added on)
