I'm slightly lazy, so I'm just going to include the entire readme.txt in this post. Here are some pictures to show you how it looks ingame on some surfaces, first.

--> Info

Included in this crosshair pack are two sprite files, containing the normal centered white dot
for most of the weapons, and a slightly off center white dot for the shotgun to account for where
the shotgun bullets actually hit. Also included are the weapon_info.txt files that tell the game
where to get the crosshair for the selected weapon, among other things.

Some of the weapons I have included weapon_info.txt files for don't originally have a crosshair,
but I've added them anyway because crosshairs are handy when aiming with these weapons, and I think
it's counter intuitive they don't have a crosshair.

The crosshair is a small inobtrusive white dot that will give good contrast on most surfaces,
making it perfect for competitive players who need to actually see where their shots are going to
hit.

--> Installation guide

1. Make a backup of your sprites folder.
- Located in your NS folder. Example: C:\Steam\SteamApps\youremail@address.com\half-life\ns\sprites

2. Unzip contents of .zip archive into your sprites folder.
- Click "yes" if it asks if you want to overwrite existing files.

3. If you only want to replace the crosshairs of certain weapons, you should only unzip the files
relevant to these weapons. Example: I only want to replace the LMG crosshair, therefore I'll only
unzip the weapon_machinegun.txt and crosshair.spr.

4. Play NS. Pwn those pesky aliens/marines.

    I will check this out, but the dot almost seem a bit large imo :o

    BTW, how did you get so much saturation in the screenies? Photoshop i presume?

    What resolution were those pictures taken in? How big are the dots in relation to the ones in my sg xhair?

    Your NS is a different colour than mine.

    I hax, moomin. Photoshop hax.

    Screenshots were taken in 1024x768

    The dot is slightly larger than the ones in your sgx, 4x4 pixels minus the four
    pixels at the top/bottom/left/right in a 24x24 sprite.

    The dot seems larger than it actually is on the screenshots, due to me cropping out
    most of the picture.

    Great job fana!
    The crosshairs are simple yet brilliant. They would be even better if they were a tad smaller. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Quite nice crosshairs Fana, although I prefer a larger one for the shotgun. Anyone else got some crosshairs to share? please do =)

    As a side note:

    I didn't make this for your enjoyment, I made it for mine. If you don't like them,
    too bad. If you do, cool. I really don't care. If you want different coloured ones,
    make them yourself. It's not exactly rocket scientry we're talking about here.

    I've made a smaller version, which I'm actually using myself. It's not round
    though, but rather a twisted square. It can be found <a href='http://home.no.net/spamking/knife/fanacross.zip' target='_blank'>here</a>.
