    Unless you got the silver package in which case you get all HL1-based games included...

    For that to happen you would been it to be on the source engine, what it is not. So the answer is no, you can not.

    To be able to even play NS on hl2 it has to be ported because the physical systems in HL1 and HL2 differ greatly.

    No...he still can't play it on HL2.....he would still be playing it on the half-life engine
