It'll take a few more hours before we get any kind of useful amount of data in, but looking at the number of users online (we've currently got 79 in the last 10 minutes, before, we tended to orbit around the 120 in the last 20 minutes) are heartening.

That sentence didn't make any gramatical sense, but I think he meant that more people browsing the site is good because it gives flayra a larger group of people who will buy the games UWE releases.

Its in relation to the bandwidth, meaning new visitor to the site could stick around in the community. When Unknown Worlds Release a game, it could be purchased by that new community member. Thus all this bandwidth and the cost being used at the moment could be given back by new community members.
