getting your little pal from the bottom
okay many times there are stratigic loactions to build but a gorge cant get there bacasue they cant climb a wall. well you can get help from the following 2 aliens. 1 skulk: jump on skulk and tell the skulk to when ever you jump to move up. keep doing this and you will move up the wall. with a lerk jump on top of the lerk (this has to be against wall or youll fall off)and tell him to fly upwards. when you get to the desired hight jump off and go to the place you need to.
My words confusing well i tried.

But yeah, dropping stuff in vents as a gorge is invaluable. I for one like to drop DCs at PSJ3, because that's always a hotspot and near the middle of the map, letting skulks heal.
I do / have seem this done on many games. It is very helpful when LerkLift is not present. Hopefully though in NS:S they'll remove it. I would love to see a phattey standing on the head of a skulks

HOWEVER...
Some vents need multiple skulk lifts, which will take a skulk away from the action. Second, some vents don't have the space for this sort of 2-person travel and thus can end up in a wasted trip.
If you're stuck for getting into a hive, skulk elevator through a vent can be an evil way to bypass perimeter defences.
It's not like you want to stay gorge forever anyway, except sometimes at the end game. There is only so much a gorge can do, so once you run out of res to spend, you might as well grow some teeth.
I've learned people to boost me in-game.. Not everyone knows how to do it, but everyone can be taught it. I don't think I've ever had a problem with getting boosted, other than having to wait for someone to come by.
As far as a gorge on being able to do so much, true. But I'll stay gorge and use my health spray on fades and lerks that need help in an assault, staying just out of the marines' sight. Knowing when to run tends to improve my survivability too.
I'll have to try that "sulk elevator" trick, sounds devious.
In conclusion: Skulk elevators rule!

Answer to slayerkl2: "skulk elevator" is a viable and useful technique
Honestly people, are we THAT lazy that we can't just get into the vents on our own? And, come tot hink of it, by doing it this way you free up that sulk/lerk to take down enemy rts, causing general mahiem, ect...

Normally this is used for people who have been a gorge for awhile... no one eggs below a vent, then asks for a boost up, that is just stupid
You sir, stand corrected. That exact thing happened in a game I played since posting that. In related news yes, people really are that dumb.
