Blank Screen Problems

<div class="IPBDescription">resolution too high?</div> I have a crazy computer,only low resolution I get HORRIBLE framerate,yet on higher resolution,I.E. 1152x864 (my desktop) I get better framerate by a bit.

I said,hey,I think if I set it to 1280x960 then I wouls get better framerate.WRONG!My screen blanks,I can hear everything,but nothing is there,all blank.Any suggestions are fixing this problem <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

This usually happened whenever i pressed the ALT OPTIONS button. I was taken back to the desktop and when i went back to the game it was all black and such. There are a couple of ways to fix this. 1 you can quit the game and restart NS. Or 2, you go to options and change your screen size.
