Do Defensive Chambers Actually Heal Nonplayers?

But i dont think i have seen it heal anything but players. I have noticed hurt offensive chambers next to one, and it stays hurt. this must be intentional, right?
well i think it should heal everything alien. period. even the hive. it would be useful and stuff and require a little more thinking on the marines part.
