Hl2 Help Needed

<div class="IPBDescription">I don't have a car</div> I have the money for Half life 2, and I know where I could buy it. But I don't have a car. I've waited so long like many of you for Half Life 2, but I wonder, if I should walk several miles to buy Half Life 2. Is it worth walking that far?

    if you have a credit card, i would suggest using steam.

    if you have parents, use them to get a ride (assuming that is possible)

    If it's less than 7 miles, then it's worth it.

    Else use 7mile boots.

    I am away at college so my parents are out of the question, and it might be more that 4 miles. I would use steam if it would allow me to preload it, but steam dies when I do that, and I can only download at 15kb/s.

    if you have/had the same steam issues with preloading, it isnt dieing, its just doing some hardcore thinking or something, it will fix itself after a somewhat long time
