<div class="IPBDescription">What TheRandomSin has done...</div> Anyway let me tell you about this game i had going. First, me and a friend joined a 2/16 server, it was sweet because in a matter of minutes it was filled to the brimm, no lag, low flux, no PL... swee-eet... it was 6 v 6... and frankly, the alien side, my side, were handing the humans faces back to them... we first had 2 guys stay and build resource towers, and then everyone else rushed... we took many meaty bites... and so after a while, they got turrets up and so we started camping right above the doorways so they walk by we dropped down in the typical alien vs marine fashion... many more humans lost their lives to this... until some how we were getting killed... want to know y? for some reason the rest of the people that started joining were going human... this was so damn annoying... it was 11-5 at the end... (one of ours left before i got a look) So, we started bitching about evening the teams, the marines, being panzys, noobies (i mean the kind that join the side with guns, more people, and being typical noobies... anyone who plays this is still noobies... its only like 5 days old... well cept beta testers...), and imbeciles. So, what did we do then? all the aliens went marines. And by that time, i was like screw dis and left... (I actually didnt leave, my cable lagged out.. anyone got a fix for this?)
So whats the moral of this story? Dont let people the option of choosing which side their on... only give them the option of going spectator or random teams...

The Alien Offensive turrets miss waaaaaaaay too much, there was 1 guy on a ledge, 3 turrets were trying to hit his feet or something... they were missing constantly, and aiming too low... for actually having spikes... they should at least have a an area affect weapon to get the bastards... What? put it right around a corner? then wouldnt it get nade launchered?
The Human turrets are way too... sturdy... it takes about 20 bites from a skulk (the lowest) and 4+ atacks from the Onos (the strongest melee) The Humans also have Siege cannons that using sonic waves, shoot buildings through walls... This Isnt good because franklky, the Aliens dont get one even though the aliens would have maybe a type of weapon that would go straight through the actually floor, engulf/attack human building... and usually the siege turrets have a backup... alot of backup... The HMG is way to cheap, and way too powerful... well not too powerful against skulks, because they need to actually hit the target... but still powerful none the less... If you dont know what youre doing in the command center, dont use it... Heres some thoughts... dont be like "Commander, give me an HMG." when the commander says "Go here." The HMG isnt that great of a weapon. Against skulks (the basic)/gorge (the alien builder)/leers (flying skulks with shooting spikes...) an AR will do fine... Remember, the Commander giving you weapons isnt a must, its a privelege for good service. And dont ask for ammunition when you can just use the armory next to you... hold down use on the armory, and youll get ammo... simple? eh?
Too many servers - so much lag, to many full, too many locked...
Over all if these problems were addressed, this game would roxors... but... some people...
