I'm from Australia. I hate footy, although I can tolerate cricket. Beer is only ok, rather than my reason to be. My accent definately isn't Australian, although I've lived here all my life (oddly enough, it doesn't sound like my parents' accents or anyone else I grew up around either; it seems that I made it up).

Atypical american. I can string multisyllabic words into a sentence that trancends the tripe emerging from the mouth of an average american. I detest sports. I suppose I'm in the minority, as I didn't want Bush to win. I seek to be tolerant of other people's race/religion/sexuality/beliefs (while a lack of tolerance may not apply to the majority of americans, it seems to apply to a good deal of the locals). I refuse to be overcome by popular culture. I don't adhere to the idea that relationships are mainly about sex.

I vary, I'm English and yet I don't like football, drink tea or try and take over countries.
I am incredibly pale though, and I like crumpets, scones and find men dressed as women amusing <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I think most of us are going to say that they are atypical, not only because its very rare that anyone will fit exactly into a stereotype (and the internet is so new (relatively) that its not really become a part of a countries stereotype yet) but because you are addressing the question to a whole site full of geeks (whats the plural for geek?) and geeks by nature don't fit into the standard stereotypes.
Throw a shrimp on the barbie, watch some footy, drink some amber liquid, I mean, fair dinkum, you could take an esky out to bicent park with the rellos but you wouldn't want to stay out too long of Chrisse Day, as Christmas in the merry old land of oz is dryer than a dead dingo's donger. So you'd have to be a great galah to want to get heat stroke from that, athough you could duck out of your trackie daks, slip into a cozzie and take a dip, then there'd be no dramas, mate, no worries at all.
Actually the english have been pretty pissweak at taking over countries as of late <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

In all seriousness, no I am not the typical type.
I hate sports. I hate jogging and running. I hate learning languages. I don't carry nifty high-tech gedgaety stuffs like MP3 players around. On week-ends I end up staying inside my house all the time.
Yeah, I hated France till I got with a French girl, hated Germans till a met some 'extremely' friendly German girls on holiday.
Not met any American girls yet <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I am not a typical American b/c I am a New Yorker (we a re a minority, a very loud minority, yet still a minority).
However I am a typical New Yorker, aka I am an individual, and FN Proud of it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
A typical canadian is a scary thing to try to define... I like hockey, maple surup, and generally try to be as unamerican as possible, but I don't drink or speak french, so I'm not to typical that way.
- like football (nope) Originally football was predominantly a mans thing but it seems everyone regardless of gender is into footy up here these days =/
- Drink like a fish (nope) I don't trust myself enough to let myself get drunk lol; I'm bad enough sober ^^
- Fierce Fighting Spirit (uh-huh) Unfortunately I do have the standard fighting fury of a scot. Helps keep me stubborn and fiery but I try not to let it ruin my decisions toooo much XD I also kinda get it from my irish blood... they're as bad as haggis munchers for having a temper =3
- Cheering at English's failures (lol, yup) Nothing personal... I don't mind english people but something makes me smile every time I hear England lost at a sport or some other event ^^;

I know. It's my standard Australian-talk paragraph.
Also, recycling is not the australian way. Throw that crappy old passage out, and make a new one. What are you, efficient or something?
