but we are just getting warmed up
I'd like to thank CAL, and Amped (specifically Albino) for their co-operation and hard work for the CAL matches this past week. My laptop HD died yesterday so I didn't get to post this then.

We will be featuring the matches again this weekend and hope that AMPED will again be able to provide HLTV feeds.

I hope to also have stickied topics setup where people can discuss strategies and some of the game play that they saw (viewed). I'd ask in advance that when these topics are created, PLEASE don't criticise another teams place, unless the leader of that clan has specificially asked for ideas.

Has anyone not involved in CAL play currently watched any of these, and if so does this sort of thing make you want to get more involved in competitive play?

We will continue preparing this weeks 2nd round matches and again will "take over" the front page so general folk can see what's going on.

As I mentioned to a few individuals, I'd like to start doing this for ALL competitive events regardless of where it's located, so if you run/admin a league/tourny, please PM me with the details.

I have never been in CAL, but i did watch the 11:00 at night match, and it was pretty interesting to see "good" people in action.....

One thing i noticed... it was impossible for me to conect to the HLTV by typing the IP into Steam in any way... i HAD to use HLSW......??

Oh well.. thumbs up, as it was a very good time....

    Cant wait till this weekend

i absolutly love hltv matches, but its difficult to watch these for example because of the timeshift

and really good hltv matches happen seldom anyways

Do "connect *IP*" in the console. Works for all servers. If it's a passworded server, u can input the pass by doing "password *PASS*", and then do the "connect" thingy.
