<div class="IPBDescription">Oh my...</div> Last night I had a horrible nightmare. Well, I don't know if you can call it a nightmare really, as I was half asleep, half awake at the time.
I dreamt some kind of monster, perhaps a giant spider or something, jumped at me in my bed. It felt incredibly real, and I literally sprang out of my bed and tipped my speaker over.
Afterwards I lay in my bed shaking before falling asleep again. Worst nightmare I have ever had.
Has anyone else had an experience like this?

Try exercising a lot before bed and your too tired to dream. I used to do that when I was a little younger, now I'm a tub of lard >.<;;

Sounds like you might have possibly had sleep paralysis if you were half awake. Sleep paralysis usually involves something like a monster jumping on you, or something pressing against your chest area, and hallucinations accompany the experience.
