Is this a efficient strategy?
I love devour, but im having a hard time devour moving marines. I found stamp very useful, even the most experienced marine player becomes helpless against stamp+devour. After I ate the marine I just flee to a safe exit and take some damage. Is this strategy the most efficient way for onos? Or is it a noob way to get a cheap kill?
Any comment would be helpful.

If they can't kill you anyway, just go kill them the old fashioned way. Plague. Er, gore.
when it would last for more than a second and work on JP.....
all the memories......
Stomp is best used in assisting other players. Use it to help skulks get kills, to help gorges spitkill marines. That way your weaker players get enough points to do something useful.
Stomp and devour are big drains on your energy, so really you don't want to use them both frequently. Second, devour only kills one person. If you MUST stomp and attack, then use gore, as it'll do a better job for killing squads of rines.
If you're nailing some poor lost marine in a corridor, then by all means waste your energy by stomp-devouring him for laughs. However, in team situations you really need to think about how you could be benefitting the team, and that means you have to miss on devour (unless you've got lucky and the only HA with the HMG hasn't seen you sneak up on him...).

Wow I am really bored.
Its all about teamwork, realise that the onos can take a bit of punishment and thus should be stomping marines so that the weaker guys can get some res. You've got you res, you've went onos, now think about those other guys who you will be relying on to help you win.
Ordinary lmg-marines die faster when you just gore them down.
Use stomp to stop bunch of shotgun and hmg-equipped marines killing you. Remember that you don't have to kill those marines yourselves, you friend can finish them off when they are stunned. Many times onos just stomps and draws fire in siegespots.
Stomp + devour is very good for devouring heavy armored marines one by one but remember that celerity and caution is very important in that situation. Otherwise you end up with too many bulletholes in your skin.
Stomp is nice in stopping escaping marines.
but I will devour that HA or JP if I see him, or someone with a heavy weapon
stomp and devour is not cheap, it's intended... if your a marine get JP's who are immune to stomp
absolutely.
you gotta be smart when you use devour as you can only eat ONE MARINE not 2304723489. So eat the one that has had the most res spent on him or poses the greatest threat and run your onos **** outta there.
