<div class="IPBDescription">hive list, res count...</div> Can someone direct me to a pack or a tutorial on how to change my fonts for the hives, info, res count. You know that sort of stuff.

    Get a sprite viewer/editor.

    Decompile the sprite.

    Open the bmp with an image program.

    ...replace the text...

    Save.

    Recompile.

    I don't think res count has a sprite. It's just text. Hive info sprite is hiveinfo. Just look in your ns/sprites directory; most of the names are self-explanatory.

    <i>wow</i>, fifteen whole people...first off, you need to accquire some patience. secondly, the font used for the res count, hiveinfo, and on·screen blips is not a sprite; it's the default font file(s) <b>font_arial.dat</b>, etc. there <i>are</i> replacement fonts available, but the method for making them is not that of making a sprite.

    Is there some place i can get these replacement fonts?

    Im not looking for the pictures of it, im lookign for a way to change the hive names font from <span style='font-size:21pt;line-height:100%'>HAMASAKI SYSTEM</span> to <span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>HAMASAKI SYSTEM</span>

    search for ns_smallfonts or smallfonts, something like that. it's a pack that comes with 2 seperate replacement fonts. either that, or i packaged the smaller one with my alien HUD, and i think that another replacement comes packaged with the Jin-Roh pack, as well. a replacement font will change the size of the text under the picture of the hives (i.e. their location), if that's what you're talking about.

    I got the small fonts but that only effects the chat text. Can you provide a link to your alien hud and see if that is what i want? I already got the Jin-Roh pack and it didn't come with small fonts.

    I just want a replacement font for the hive locations, as you said. But would this affect things like the alien res count, waypoints for marines and the location indicator above your health and armour?

    EDIT: I saw the links in your sig but alas, no pictures.

    you can change the content of what you mentioned above by going through your titles.txt there you can change alot of the generic things like what waypoints say and what locations are called etc.

    In the titles.txt file i couldn't help notice that it says...

    <span style='color:red'>//TITLES FOR NATURAL SELECTION
    //DO NOT ALTER THIS FILE</span>

    (minus the red)

    If i was to edit this file would ns we fudged?
