<div class="IPBDescription">single file people...</div> I was wondering if this idea would be of any value:
Marines start in a room with a very narrow shaft and a ladder in the middle of the room, which after a very long climb, reaches the hive room high above. Marines will have to climb up single file very slowly while aliens have to drop down in single file. Assuming the top marine dies after killing 4-5 skulks, he get his head chomped off, and the second guy in line starts firing. Rinse and repeat.
Imagine the nonstop fight to get to the top!

Edit: Here's an idea... make it so that there are several columns reaching down into the room, which are translucent, and have several twists and turns in them. This way the beginning skulks dont have to go down the straight ladder, but at the risk of being seen on the way down (and thus, shot at) they can take another route. This could cause a bit of havoc.
Make sure that the marines can survive long enough to get siege turrets though, because onos and lerks would just own a map like that.

Or since it's so small after compression;
Though it was fun, 3on3 rines won easily cause aliens kept falling down the first time.
Second round was won by aliens. Rines didnt make a single kill. It seems that all you need to do is waiting at the top of the ladder for the lvl 1 rines to show their heads and then rip em off.
More holes to marine spawn then?

Its hillarious.
Aliens spawn in a fissure thing, (there is a teleport to the hive in there too)
They walk towards one side of the fissure thing, and get launched into the air (CLIP texture keeps them from stopping) and they get flown over and then into the marine base (a really big open space with ladders on the walls, two connected by a ladder going through the middle)
Its hillarious, to kill the hive you launch GLs out into the hive (big hole in the middle of the desert)
Basically its nonstop xeno/carnage.
Once we had 12 gorges on alien team.. heahhaha
Your idea sounds fun though, try it with lots of people.
