Killing turret factories and other resources

<div class="IPBDescription">Which resource should an alien go for?</div>If I kill a turret factory will that make all the sentries in the area stop working, or will it just keep the commander from making morein that area?
Also what are the most attractive non-threatening targets for aliens? For instance should an alien go for the resource tower before going for the observatory? Should an alien keep a phase gate alive in order to use it for their own teleport advantage? If you go into a room as an onos <!--emo&::onos::--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tiny.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='::onos::'><!--endemo--> and see a bunch of these components, what is the best target? The infantry portals? The resource tower? The advanced armory? What order should an alien attack these structures?

Also, go for the tower before the observatory. The infantry gate before anything. It's your choice to leave the phase gate open or not, but it usually gives the marines more of an advantage.
