If you happen to have an ATI card and are using cat 4.10s then you may want to turn off WMV acceleration in the Options panel. Not sure if that will fix it but I hope it helps anyway <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Memory corruption, reinstall WMP and Mozzilla, if it doesn't fix, remove the programs in addremove, then reinstall them.

Isn't the newest WMP version 10? Maybe try upgrading? or maybe I'm stupid, I dunno.

Or try using Winamp and see if wmv files crash that.

Or if you don't like that, get Media Player Classic. I dislike WMP...
