Since the original site was slashdotted (which is odd for a site hosted by a university, University of Michigan in this case, poor server is probably on fire right now), and the mirror was slashdotted, and the mirror of the mirror was slashdotted (and so on), I re-mirrored it off a semi-slashdotted site. Oh, and yeah my connection is t3h sl0w, but meh, what can you expect for a server on a DSL line.

This is seriously the best costume evar, even better if he was actually inside it. Next year he can go as an iPod Photo.

    Bah. The Legolas and Aragorn costumes a couple of the guys had at the Raven halloween party were FAR better. They took two weeks and about $450 each to do it and stitched their own leather, embroidered their own clothing, and even (for the legolas guy) fletched their own arrows, complete with real feathers. Freakin' incredible.

    Is the guy in the Harry Potter costume genuinely incredibly short or is he just kneeling down in that pic next to Hagrid?


    And the iPod costume was nowhere near as cool as I expected it to be, I have to agree with others who've said it would look better if he was actually in it...and it didn't look like a tablet PC selotaped to the back of a piece of white cardboard....

    As for the height, no, the guy in the hagrid costume actually attacked stacks of small (but thick) wood planks under his feet. This guy is pretty tall anyway, so the extra height probably put him up to about 7 feet.
