    Did he throw the gun in a blender or something, go easy on those scratches boy.
    Overall the skin is too flat, give it a real light source and work from that.

    Pretty self-explanatory, how would I go about fixing those "smoothing" errors I think they're called?
  • rabbityrabbity Join Date: 2003-07-02 Member: 17866Members
    that means the smoothing is messed up, if you're converting it, turn OFF autosmooth in milkshape

    or perhaps some faces are overlapped... thats what it looks like to me anyway..

    never held a gun in my life, but I wanted to know if that is really the size of a Colt 1911 in a Adults hand?

    cause it looks huge

    lol ignore that for now, im gunna make it transparent. But ill try turning off autosmooth, even if I have to re convert it. And I dont think its overlapped faces cause the cs model doesnt have the problem.

    It is too big, but he's just doing a re-skin of an existing model, so I think the blame falls on the original creator <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    uhh...no. thats the worst compile ever. iono's model is top-notch, one of the best 1911's out there. if there were errors, i wouldn't blame iono in any way shape or form.

    Well... a colt .45 was a rather large handgun

    Personall I prefer the ruger or the .44 Magnum revolver <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    This is where I would say "If you think you can compile it better, by all means go ahead." But ive already re-done it without the autosmooth option on and it works(Thx Rabbity)
