you have modelled the structure on the grip negative shaped.. a little bit to much extruded too.. iits meant to be on the relative same height as the neoprene material that covers the grips
but i really like the basic shape so far
pc?
ahm..yeah... thats what i wanted to say .p
in that hole is the manual magazine release lever..
its meant as "triggerguard" for that lever
/me bows and lights candles
the in co-operation with seburo inc. and Shinnakasu Heavy Industries of Poseidon-norinco inc. developed PNSB-II AR "Banshee"

looks good, is there somewhere that all of sheena's concepts can be seen at?
Cant wait!!!
Looks great!!!
Monocromatic noise, motion blur, and adds a metal texture over it with a slightly transparentness.
maybe complicated..but the way im doing it
Maybe its the drink stopping me from thinking....could someone make this more obvious to me.

See that structural piece just below the grip (looks a bit like one of the steam cogs <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->).
The part that's extruded outwards, and then back in to create the inset? That inset isn't meant to be there, it's meant to be extruded outwards to roughly the same level as you have the outside of it now, whereas the outside of the structure is meant to be a sort of gradual incline as opposed to a sharp one that decends to the same level as the rubber on the grip.
If you can understand that- i'll give you a lollipop.
EDIt// nvr mind did one myself ftw
He doesn't have to go based on the concept. A modelers job is to model what he sees fit in his own eyes. If he thinks that should go inward then let it be his model his way. If he decides to makea round part more squarish then good for him.
(this at least insinuates to me that udder is interested in remaining as close as possible to the reference concept)
I think being the concept artist, sheena who pointed it out in the first place is entitled to some input no? No one's forcing udder to comply with the changes- the model is great as it is. Keep it up <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
dont look at photoshop metal tutorials cause they're always **** brushed metal badness. i'll post a proper one later when i get a chance...
EDIT: example
You have far too much bottled up negativity drealit.
