Can We Have A Place To Discuss Ns:source?

becuse it keeps coming up,
I know that the team has said that they will make the decision whether or not to do it when they are ready.

But can we have a thread, maybe in the Ideas and suggestions forum just to discuss, speculate and come up with ideas for NS:Source?

For the amazingly lazy or inept: Here is a link. (Don't feel bad, I myself am also inept and lazy.)

I would not even say it, for people have it edged towards their sanity too many times that is safe and calm

i dont think theres anything we can do to prevent the inevitable. n00bs will always come to this forum and ask "the question which no one shall speak". cause they wont read the webbed, and they wont use the search button.

Really now, the engine has little to do with how fun a game is. I'd much rather the devs spend their time making NS awesome then learning a new engine and redoing all their hard work.

Well.....I would say that. No game will ever be LESS fun on a better engine, so upgrading the engine can only boost the game as a whole; furthermore, a better engine allows the dev team to include more of the kinds of far-out suggestions that are obviously unrealistic for NS right now, but would still be really fun to play with.....

Doom 3 was a big disappointment for me compared to the previous Dooms. The new engine was kickass, I definately won't disagree with that. But I found that Doom 2 was a lot more exciting, nailbiting, and a helluva lot longer than Doom3, which equals to a lot more fun and entertaining for me.

EDIT: Of course this is all in my opinion, I'm sure others would disagree. But games in general, in my view, I see that gameplay has been drastically receding because most games seem to be focused on how hardcore and awesome they can make their graphics.
