How are these things cheaper then the 9800 Pros/XT's? That's really wierd.
But anyway, looks like a real nice computer. Good Job.
also, i think that you should buy a separate power supply. getting something cheap like a $30 sparkle. it will make a much bigger difference in performance and lifespan

Except there are lots of reports of nVidia having crappy drivers that degrade visual quality in exchange for fast preformance. Buyer beware.
Crono....hahahahahahahahahah!
Too bad you can't wait, the AGP flavors of the X700XT and the 6600GT are right around the corner, you could get a better rig by going the socket 754 (A64) route.
trust me on this.

The wattage does not really matter, it's all about the voltage on your rails, particularly your 12 volt for your GPU. Go to Anandtech forums for advice.

I'm pretty sure it was the X600's that the 6600's blew away... X700's benched higher than the 6600's IIRC.
You're aware you could be running 2 computers off that aren't you? Realisticly, anything above 450 is far beyond what you would ever need for even an insane PC...
Better to go for something that runs cooler than just to jump on a big number.
I wouldn't, as long as you have more than 512, you won't knowtice a huge preformace jump for your cash.
