Quite amusing.

I don't think anyone's saying "it's funny because it says emperors are the same as pirates, which is ironic in light of the current international situation!"

I think/HOPE that most people are looking at it and saying "wow... that was bizarre." At least, that's why I thought of it. Bizarre. And rather silly. This is why radicals on either side of the fence do nothing but make their more moderate "allies" look bad.

This movie reminds me of that stupid bit on Mad TV that makes fun of conspiracy theorists.

    Completely one sided and dumb.

Notice how Nem selects my posts almost exclusively? When the original poster commented on Noam Chomsky I post one thing and Nem zeros in on it? Read some of his "work", it's directly related to the whole situation.

    Heh, which one?

The one when they were talking about how JFK was shot to little kids?

"The real shot came from the grassy knoll, grassy knoll grassy knoll!"

Edit: How come you don't get screened by Nem0?

Liberal propaganda? That would be history my friend. With a liberal slant, no doubt, but it's not opinion, it's fact . We DID support the Contras, just cause we didn't like the current regime, and we DID support Saddam and basically get him into power. I don't believe we gave him chemical weapons, but our money probably payed for them. I also don't think we ever had any intention of putting a dictator into power who would go nutso and invade a country, as well as try to kill of a substantial part of his country's population. But unfortunately that's what happened. Hindsight's tricky like that ain't it?

This isn't even liberal, this is leftist. This psycho nutty consipracy theorist stuff.

In regard to Saddam, at the time, he didn't look like that bad of a guy, the Baath party was for the most part secular so it was sorta welcomed by the western world and at the time the Ayatolla was the threat.

Friends today enemies tommarow thats how life is.

Not all of it is fact buddy, they said we "supported and funded" Osama Bin Laden,
when the truth is we never gave any money to Osama or his Al Qaeda organization.

Yes we funded the Afghan rebels to help them fight the Russians, which I feel was the right thing to do, Osama just happened to be a part of that fight so people conveniently assume the two are the same.
That?s like saying someone who gives money to a pro-life organization helped fund and support that one crazy wacko who blows up an abortion clinic.

This is a poor thing to learn "history" from.

Osama was in fact one of the leaders of this group. Then again, he wasn't that bad at the time either.

I'm telling you, America just keeps screwing up at public relations...
