Hey! This is my first attempt at mapping for Natural Selection, I've spent nearly all day today working on it, what do you think? Here are some screens:

    Update!

    Once again, I've spent my whole day on this map, and have updated it
    quite a bit.

    Here is a picture of one of the (now) three corridors leading to the hive.

    The new hive room. Has a new corridor into it, as well as the little
    second story platform.

    The texture application tool is your friend, learn its uses. Also you want to tie that rail in the hive to func_illusionary set to Render mode - Solid and fx amount - 255. that'll make it see through, then make another world brush textured in clip the same size and shape of the rail, that will make sure you can't walk through it, but you can shoot through.

    Another thing to think about it light source, at the moment all you lights are just random ents placed where you want them, and have no light fixture to make it look lik ethats what the light is coming from.
