Valve got owned. So did all of their users. Turns out the cracked copy of CS:S works on NON-CRACKED SERVERS.

I'm tempted to go look for it, because maybe it will actually work? eh who knows.

But the fact of the matter is that HL2 is going to be the same way, and so will any other multiplayer game valve realeases, at this rate.

Still I don't regret buying this game as I would like to support my favorite game company but valve's stupidity really kicks themselves in the wallet

Didn't this happen before, and valve said it wouldn't stop them for now, but would ban anyone who played the cracked version of cs:s on normal servers anyway?
