they should have a look at how the specialists mod has made their 3rd person view, because they've made it so u cant peak around corners and look through walls.
TS' way is still bugged in some ways. +3rd person is against the "gritty" fealing NS wants to bring to the player, so the devs don't really need to bother with this unneded extra work.

Yes, but you dont have the polygons of your v_ model of the gun. (Or whatever it was...) So it's the same if you use it or not, but I think the weapon on v_ has few more polys than the player model.

i do believe thats classified as cheating too
And yes, it is cheating, because you have a "better" field of view and you can look around corners.
