A tip for a suicidal skulk
If you plan on assaulting the marine base using Xenocide, do not get Redemption. If you get teleported back to the hive while your Xenocide is active, Boom.

redemption should be disabled when you activate xenocide.
sounds like something to post to the ideas forum

redemption for a Skulk in my opinion, is a waist of an upgrade ...

The Skulk is the default class. It costs nothing. It would be more effective to have Carapace or Regen ..

But, thats just one guys opinion

Actually, redemption is not instant, therefore you can die when you have redemtion, you have to wait a couple of secondes, and if you are already dead with Xenocide then you cannot teleport back.

Redemption is a percent per second related to your remaining health. What Vahn_Paktu is saying is that it is possible to triger Xenoside then, before it goes off (several seconds), get redemed because you've sufferd damage. Then you blow up at your hive. Rather pointless.

But then, redeeming an alien which doesn't cost anything is pointless too......

It saves time, I hate waiting around for upgrades...

i found out that whole redemtion is pretty useless...i prefer MUCH more adrenaline...helps so much in attack or defence and my opion is that good fade needs it allways...pretty offtopic but dont get mad

Hey, if anyone's gonna get mad, it's because you can have redemption and adrenaline at the same time.

If you're concerned about upgrade time, try binding your numpad to all the upgrades. Cuts down atleast five seconds once you get used to it.
