Haven't played NS since version 2....I loved that game.....this due to real life issues etc etc.
Anyway back on board now and given my spec below, wondered what suggested settings for audio and video would be. I have turned the video resolution to the highest but it kinda hurts my eyes.
I appreciate this could be a personal thing and could expirement etc but wondered what others had things set to if they have similar spec. Thanks
AMD 64 3400
1 Gig SD Ram
Radeon 9800 128 Pro
Realtek AC97 Onboard Sound
a 17inch visible CRT
Windows XP Pro (yes I know I should linux but trust me...I am a technical disaster zone :-)
reckon that covers the relevant stuff. Would be grateful if you covered the audio settings as well
Again thanks for any help given

Also, you might want to enable Anistropic filtering (AF) and Anti-aliasing (AA) set as high as you can. I'm not sure how you do that with a Radeon, but I would think it would be under display properties in the settings tab, under the advanced button.
If your frame rate is too low, just lower the AF/AA settings until its smooth.
I have a slower system (Athlon64 3000+ and Geforce3) and I can get 2xAA and 8xAF with no problem at 1152x864 and everything set on the highest quality it can go.
