I'm only gonna watch for the off chance that Nader will burst in, rush up to a podium, body check Kerry or Bush off, and answer their question while fighting off security.

A more likely scenario is that the Secret Service goes to somethingawful.com, reads that last line, and the debate is cancelled, Lowtax is arrested, and ns.org is mysteriously DDOS'ed off the internet...

I really don't like how either of them is so comfortable with saying "I will not make bad decisions like <action> for our country" without explaining <i>why</i> <action> is a bad decision. All such statements communicate is "my position is to do/not do <blahblah>."
This isn't a debate over why the other guy is wrong. This is a place and time for both to put forth their campaign platform to people who don't know what either stands for.
What the host guy needs to do is ask a question not involving the war.... <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> War is a critical matter of the state. Not to mention human life.

Hahah, I'm listening right now to a question the demate moderator asked about why neither campaign mentions the possibility of sending troops to <I didn't hear where>.
The mod is the one kicking butt <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Then you've already heard more than enough on the subject.
I would really like to hear more on domestic issues really, I'm sure others can agree w/ me.

John Kerry mentioned his Vietnam service 7 times during the first of the debates. As if we don't know he didn't serve.
Edit: I personally think Kerry got smoked during the debate, seeing as Bush had something good to say every time Kerry opened his mouth. The homeland defense issues, the estimated time for the withdrawl from Iraq...Bush was on top of it tonight.

Kerry: [creepy smile] Well when I was in vietnam....
Bush: He changed positions! [smirk, slam hand on desk]

Kerry is just as bad. We don't care what you did in vietnam. Something that happend 35 years ago has no bearing on todays world.
Strangely I missed the debates.
but I have a beer and im going to watch it on CNN
The Communist News Network.
