    I like it thought some simple textures can be changed and maybe more details and other/more lightning?

    Well the lack of details goes for the whole map plus and one suggestion on changing textures would be the floor at ms.

    i agree on the ms bit, i was thinking of redoing it anyhow, i dont rekon it would flow too well, ill try and add more detail aswell, but im only in the early stages so i dont wanna go overboard and then find later im maxin out hl's limits

    Hmmm, I honestly think the layout is a bit complex. Whether it's just the pinkness of it, I don't know. When you compare some of the newer maps layouts (ns_agora etc) with the older ones (tanith etc), there is a vast size difference. Lots of hallways and rooms is not always the best way to win <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    On another note, I really like the ambience of those screenshots, I like the varied use of lighting, kinda rusty feel to it.

    Maybe add a few boxes on the bottom part of marine start, and add some sort of yellowish-gold lighting in ms.

    Re: Layout

    East Hive needs an RT moved to just southwest of it. At the moment Aliens wanting res early on in the round will be moreorless forced to head to the NorthEast Hive. If I was a com I know where I'd send my troops if I knew the aliens were at East hive...

    In fact the same is true of the South Hive, except that this time Aliens will be pushed <i>towards</i> the MS if they want the closest RTs!!!

    To fix: Kill one of the RTs between East and South Hives, and move one of South Hives nearest RTs into the room directly north of it. Then you'll also need to rework the corridors to make that room a bit further from East hive.

    i thought the same when i was looking over my layout this morning, so i've already added those changes, ive also simplified it a bit aswell, its on pen and paper tho, so i'm not gonna upload it just yet

    Cool. Only I suggest to place a light_spot above the comand console.

    can U pls give me the values of those orange texlights on the 2nd picture in the ceiling (those two, biggest).

    I don't like the repitition of the red-grate-mat-bast-like-texture. It looks good, that texture, but I think you've overused it on the walls.

    Well, consideirng I can barely see the back wall in the first picture, I'm assuming it's this pc that i'm on. I'll re-post when I get home, onto my pc.

    The map is REALLY nice. Dont change anything, save for the Eclipse/Veil logo, lest the entire board raises hell saying "OMG! YOU CANT USE THAT! OMGWTHBBQ!!1!11!!!"
