Taking Advantage Of Aliens Abilties.

<div class="IPBDescription">Strategicly Speaking.</div> The most powerfull alien weapon is its ability to be bait, and lead marines into an ambush.
Meaning. Parasight before running in. If you see one marine, Parasight untill he eather dies or you have at least +1 more aliens over the amount of marines chasing you.
You would be surprised how easy this works on pubs at least. Try and lead marines to where you want them to go.
Also, parasighting 3 marines, then hiding in a vent spamming chuckle and other sounds does amazing things. anywhere where they will just stay there waiting to kill you, or back off. but what this does is STALL THEM.
Remember Aliens All you are doing most of the time, espicaly in the begining is defending untill you get a 2nd hive up. cause once that 2nd hive goes up. You pretty much get a 200-500% boost in killing power.
and again, if you are the only one in an area, try and hide, or run away, get back up. The aliens other advantage is speed. so they can respond to threats a little more quickly, thus making them more defensive.
Think of skulks like wolves, Skulks are way more effective in a pack. Now that doesn't mean you have 8 skulks rush down a long hall way agaisnt 2 marines. you will all prob die. now if you have 5 skulks ambush 6 marines, Youll prably kill em all.

But don't go too nuts with the parasites. Tag most of the marines, and then go heal or get into a good ambush spot. Skulks do not have the durability to delay the marines that way, so there are better things for you to do with yourself.
Then I just jump out and kill him.
NS can be full of psychological warfare sometimes...
celerity and carapace (plus leap, which you would have by then) works wonders.

Time > kills, this is also why OC's are great, slap an odd oc or 2 in areas, watch a rambo rine waste 3~5mins poking his head outa wall and firing intill it dies and waste all his ammo. Cost to waste of rine time is great for oc's. I know most people want them cheaper or stronger, but i wouldnt want oc's spammed everywhere like nub commanders do with turrets.

about the hallway thing. youve obviously never tried to relocate to the long hallway below horse-shoe and come around the corner and see 5 skulks bounding towards you. good laugh that was. raped.
Silence is the key, especially with cloak. Take a bite, run away, then come back cloaked. It usaually causes the rines to spam all there ammo in a circular motion, and when they run dry, use em to floss ya teath.
Adren is also great with leap. To my surprise, my pants gained a couple of extra gramms when i saw a skulk leap from the ground, to the roof, to a wall next to me, then into my face in a 5second motion, then he started chomping my feet. This is a crazy move that i am still trying to master.
Start a new server, with just you and bots. Get a 2nd hive, then try out your triple leap chomp attack on your hapless rine bots..

Some rines think they're surrounded and waste a few bullets with paranoia. They usually scream for backup/ammo/meds and that annoys his mates as well as his comm. If you're REALLY lucky he's a complete idiot and is spamming furiously, which is a really good time to viciously exploit the frantic garbled teamsaying and RUSH the rine base.
Sitting beside ladders and using para with cloak is always good too... especially at L3 when you can be cloaked before the marine even looks around to see what hit him.

Parasite is free. SOF costs 2 res, plus it means you have sensory chambers (not common), plus it means you aren't getting focus or cloaking from the chamber.
But parasiting the most marines one can is really good, rarely I die to marine thats not parasited at least. 2 para +3 bites kills lvl 3 armored marine, thats what I think...maybe its level 2.
