    I remember doing something like this a long time ago. It involved the onos picture:

You notice on the top of his head there's that vertical line? That's the eye. The curved, 'V' shape between the bottom of the strong carapace 'helmet' portion of its head, and the horn form its mouth. And the actual face of the onos is the tongue.

    Think I'm insane?

    LoL! Erm...no.

    So other aren't getting totally confused: technically speaking the hivemind is derrived from the collective sentince of the colony. Many cells, many units, one mind. Just think of some of the other collective minds, like the Borg, to help get an understanding.
