$70 buy it now from ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5127485344&rd=1

You can pick up a 9600 pro for under $100 on newegg, therefore a Ti4200 would be a waste of money.
Actually the ti-4600 is a faster card than the 9600 pro, therefore making it a better buy than the 9600 pro. The only thing it is lacking is DX 9 support.
Pity this didn't come up a week ago as a certain components shop was selling everything at 25% discount. Picked up a 6800GT with Doom 3 for £230.
Still, a ti4600 (was binned soon after release in favour of 4800) is a decent card. I've had the 4800 for the last year and it will run doom 3 ok at medium settings. Never tried o/cing it but it might be worth a look.
As other people have said, your cpu and ram is going to be a severe bottle neck, and maybe your mobo too (cant remember if the 4600 is 4x or 8x agp). Have a look at http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/AMD_Bundles.html for the 2500+ o/ced to 3200+ bundle for £186. Should be able to run doom3 and hl2 quite comfortably.

Learning/taking your time to type out texts in proper English help a lot.
Also by only stating that this and that card is better than that or this is not really a reasonable argument. There are tons of Benchmarks floating on the net, I suggest you check out the updated ones first. I provided one, but it might be too expensive for you. It's amazing how fanboyism + rumors stick into people's heads...

It's litteraly impossible for me to achieve less than 99 FPS in a standard game.

wld rather u get 9xxx series ...if u are a nvidia fan..u can buy fx5900 series ..that is the onli fx card i recommend for nvidia fans
other den that..get a 9800pro..it is pretty cheap now...in fact, the margin between 9600xt and 9800pro is nt much imo
price for teh performance... 9800pro is worth it.
