Preface: Not a film student, don't know anything about how to put a film together.
But... I thought the filming work in this movie was absolutely beautiful. Two bits near the beginning, where Shaun walks from his flat to the store and back, are amazing. The first, of course, through a normal world with slightly odd notes for attentive viewers to pick up, and the second, obvlivious and hung over through a world that's obviously falling apart due to zombie invasion. (Ohnoes, spoilers! There are zombies in the movie!) Just the way that it's done, with the camera slowly rotating around him as he walks. And note that through the whole sequence, there's never ONE cut. Just absolutely beautiful filming that you'd barely notice if it's not pointed out. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
those two scenes are a good example of the kind of repatition throughout the whole movie that make it accesable to people who havent watched many zombie movies or other british comedies. Repeating/ Referancing itself is one of the things i like about its style.

also i dunno if anyone has said this already.. it is the only film with a 15 rating to say the word C u next tuesday. in the uk at least.. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> I think it is. Im sure usually they automatically give it an 18 for that... but hey times have changed. I laughed so much when he said that though... just totally audacious and not expected.
Yeah I loved the film saw it ages ago, but I was a bit dissapointed with some of the "serious" scenes there, that took away the comedy and made it feel like the film was trying to get a moral across or something...
