if anyone could tell me as to how i could change the colour of all the txt it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm quite sure neither are possible at the current stage (but don't let this stop you from trying <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->).
edit: if they cant be edited, how are they rendered? nanites?
edit2: if anyone could fix up the weapon selection sprites for me so i can work with the right sprites that would be wonderful. I'm 100% sure as to how to re-arrange them atm.

yeah, was just a few test screenies. ill probably take out that green even though the structures havent been changed by me yet. if you looked closely you can also tell that the command hud isnt translucent either... gotta fix that :<
edit: having bad problems with my minimaps... i dunno whats wrong with them, the one in the pic is rn's.
con_color "x y z"
in console, replace x y and z with numbers ranging between 0 to 255,
play with the values until you get the color you wanted.
Also, one of the numbers is for red, another one is for blue, and another one is for green, obviously.
also what should the mt sprite's animation be? should it spin? should it pulsate??
i already have the basic design just need the animation... :<

Add some transparency to it, make the outside 3 points spin around the center. You know how to do that, right?
EDIT: I just tryed to compile your sprites. FOOL you don't have the rigth palette!!!

tried to do a zoom effect, it worked reasonably well but its not final yet... need to touch it up a bit. find a way to implement that circle...

on·topic: that HUD's pretty smooth, though the colors don't exactly suit my taste. i do, however, like that build sprite. nice werk all·around-

You are doing great.
As for the spinning circles you just need them to move one rotation (one block moves into the block before it's position) and then when point in the rotation must have it's own bmp. BTW, do you have Wally it is the pallete masta!

It's cool. it makes the MT seem semi-organic, which since they are hunting organic targets is 100% appropriate. maybe after this you should do an alien SOF sprite. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
