There should be some incentive made to keep people in Mexico. There is no hope in Mexico right now, due to many, many things.
The problem must be dealt with in two ways:
1.) A short term strategy that involves better control of our open borders and some way to allow better government control.
Maybe like having a program where Mexicans who are chosen are able to work for farms in California for 6 months, and they receive money training so they can go back to Mexico with savings, investments, etc.
2.) A long term strategy to help Mexico build its economy up while building its government down to slowly get rid of corruption.
If illegal immigration is impossible to control, the best thing to do would be to set up such a program that helps Mexicans get the work while alleviating pressure from our open borders.
3.) whats to stop them from moving south into south america? I'll just assume they don't have the funds to go across sea.
4.) How would i feel? How about i tell you what i would feel like doing... starting a revolution and making a government that can feed its people! 1. Lockdown the boarder. We are pulling troops out of Europe, time to put them to good use in America.
2. Triple the quota rates. Obviously people want in... and immigrants have been the backbone of America for a long time now. Triple the quota, and that should be able to meet the demand.
Farmers, by the way, should be able to pay minimum wage and stay afloat, right? If not then we need to lower the minimum wage.
Man, minimum wage laws suck, the only people they hurt are the people at the bottem.

Yes yes quite true. Minimum wage does 2 things. 1)it benifits those who still have their job after a hike in the minimum wage and 2) Increases unemployment, espically the low income earners.
