Seriously , I'm offended by the dictionary.com definition of "godless" , it's not neutral at all. Oh well , people persuaded that the Bible holds an unquestionable truth won't be easy to convince that the dictionary doesn't only have exact definitions either ! Though there's no direct link to the "godless" adjective in the Wikipedia , I doubt the Godless Americans Political Action Commitee would have chosen it if it implied they were morally bankrupt.
No-one said it had to be neutral. It's language, after all.
Anyway, it's not that much compared to the definition of "black". If someone didn't know what a black person was, and <a href='http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=black' target='_blank'>looked it up</a> on dictionary.com, they'd see:
1. Being of the color black, producing or reflecting comparatively little light and having no predominant hue. 2. Having little or no light: a black, moonless night. 3. often Black 1. Of or belonging to a racial group having brown to black skin, especially one of African origin: the Black population of South Africa. 2. Of or belonging to an American ethnic group descended from African peoples having dark skin; African-American. 4. Very dark in color: rich black soil; black, wavy hair. 5. Soiled, as from soot; dirty: feet black from playing outdoors. 6. Evil; wicked: the pirates' black deeds. 7. Cheerless and depressing; gloomy: black thoughts. 8. Being or characterized by morbid or grimly satiric humor: a black comedy. 9. Marked by anger or sullenness: gave me a black look. 10. Attended with disaster; calamitous: a black day; the stock market crash on Black Friday. 11. Deserving of, indicating, or incurring censure or dishonor: “Man... has written one of his blackest records as a destroyer on the oceanic islands” (Rachel Carson). The irony of it probably being "offensive" to the NAACP is because it promotes true equality. That is, in my book, the most humorous piece about the "speech."

The truth, even in a satirical speech, still hurts <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->.
I've decided a long time ago that religion is not worth debating because it so deeply ingrained within people's heads that it's nigh-impossible to convince them otherwise. Some are more liberal then most (see Swiftspear's new thread), but in debate over an aspect of Christianity they hold dear, it's impossible to pry them any way but theirs. That's why my post was a J O K E, not to mention this thread is a J O K E quite literally, because the speech in question is a S A T I R E which many people seem to have problems U N D E R S T A N D I N G.
p.s. hey, Legionnaire's comment was as snobby as mine.
