I Am A Illy, Silly Boy.

I b0rked mah resolution!
Well, the other day, I was making something fullscreen. Instead of stretching the video, it decreased my monitor resolution to around 640x480. Wait, more like 6x4. Anyway, I restarted my computer(on windows 2000) to see if that would help. Much to my surprise, when it got to the login screen, the login screen was at 6x4. I couldn't see the window that says "Press Ctrl. Alt Del to continue!" I can't log in, and when I tried to change my resolution WHILE logged in (earlier) the window was too damned big. I couldn't see anything. What I need to do is figure out some way to increase my resolution, back to at least 800x600. Without logging into Windows 2000. Safe mode is not good for computing. I decided to askk here, before trying another tech support forum, because all the advice I got at the last one was advice on lewd actions to perform to my mother.
EDIT: Topic's supposed to be silly, not illy.

when you get to the window, press tab enough times so "themes" is selected, then press r-arrow enough times so "settings" is selected, then tab enough times so the reolution is selected, etc
All you need to know is how many times you need to press tab (depends on your drivers), but trial and error can get you there
I had to go round my mates house an look an see what was involved to get the properties screen up and adjust the resolution without a mouse using just tab and the arrow keys.
Once I had got it commited to memory I went home and managed to fix my resoulution.
Edit: this was on windows XP, I don't remember what it's like for 2000 and lack a machine running it. So try getting into the boot prompt with F8 and see if VGA mode is there.
