    They're saved as .bmp, use the photoshop you evidently have to convert them to .jpg or .gif, Einstein.

    Seriously, even Paint can convert, open up the picture and paint and resave it in jpg or gif

    well I got photoshop but I thought if there is any way to go around it so they get converted when I take the screenshot to GIF ore JPG

    there are programs that let you do bulk conversions (by just highlighting a bunch of files, instead of having to open em all up invidually...)

    just get on google and look for a freeware one

    Load up the image, click File > Save As, select whatever format you want.
