Just thought you should know...
I'm on it now and it seems to be working pretty fine. They have some new icon graphics that look pretty weird, but you'll get used to it quick.

Also, you don't have to go to getfirefox.com anymore!

EDIT: Well, not directly anyway :X

EDIT II: Unrelated note, http://www.ytmnd.com/ is back up.

Ive been using recent nightlies, its looking good. I have had a few problems with the stability of versions over the last few weeks, but hopefully this release has addressed that. It seems to have quashed a few noticable bugs at least.

And a present for 404NotFound: Dancing Potato - Full Version. Otherwise known as Mr Scruff - Sweetsmoke.

I'm waiting until 1.0, because I'm fine right now. No point in downloading a preview.

Yay! Firefox > * . One feature that I like is the new automatic download to get support for content on the page, i.e: bgsounds, sounds, movies.

But I'm using MyIE2! And I want to wait for all of the plugins to work and stuff, because right now it sounds like things are a bit messed up.

I love it! The new find feature is awesome and everything just seems nice and clean. The update on some of the icons was much needed and indeed looks very good. Glad I updated today (was running 9.3.0).

Firefox is getting alot better recently. People who i had told to start using it complained that it was slow, however as they used it more and it built up some more cache they realised it was alot faster. It's easily the #1 Browser!

There are a few tweaks you can do to make it run quicker on higher end computers. Theres even a little program that will make the changes for you somewhere. Although just making it your default browser speeds it up quite a lot (Windows prefetches the default browser or something).

Internet Explorer use is down to around 75% now, which will make web developers happy. Hopefully it will create some impetus to make Microsoft create a browser that displays pages according to the standards.

I do however have worries about the stability and testing processes for Mozilla products, and some of the user interface moves do seem a bit strange. I'm more than happy to use it though, its the best slimline browser for Windows, and the Web Developer Toolbar makes designing pages so much easier.

SO, there is an advantage to switching now.

I've been thinking about switching over to firefox, but never did. I just did, and already it feels faster, and I like the look alot better. Very well done. Only problem is my mousewheel isn't scrolling down the page like it should.

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, Tools>options>advanced button on left sidebar>Browsing section>"use autoscrolling" and/or "use smoothscrolling." Uncheck/check each one as desired.

It works fine for all pages, but when I'm actually creating a post, I cannot use the mousewheel to scroll up/down the page. Oh, nvm. I figured it out. You can't scroll up/down while you're typing something into a page.
