    Christ, they do? Target of all places? Isn't that targeting the wrong demographic?

    Oh my God. I'm sure every middle age mother in the US absolutely loves seeing these in their Target stores. Then again, that is only if they recognize it for what it is. Kinda hard to realize that something called Happy Tree Friends is about merciless violence and incessant gore. (Disregarding the First Blood and Second Serving part of the titles that is.)

    ANYWAY, I was never a fan of HTF. Too bloody for me. Slightly ironic, coming from the person who plays FPSes left and right, but it's just boring. (The valentine's card, I predicted EVERY. SINGLE. METHOD. of death. I saw the arrows, thought "Hmm...they'll fly off the screen and get her in the back." they proceeded to do so, and I got bored.)

    Yeah something about that much obscenity, vulgarity and violence in one plays just kills off any chance of it truly being funny for me. I can still laugh at a lot of it, but it just isn't my kind of humour. I mean, even if we are gamers we have limits just as any non gamer would. Gore in video games doesn't really equate because more often than not we don't care or really don't pay any notice to it. Those few games that make a big deal about gore usually don't have anything else going for them that make them worth playing.

    But I am really quite surprised that the link was taken out. I mean, Penny Arcade is often vulgar and bloody (though I still find that funny because it has a certain amount of truth to most of what they say) but they are not ousted from here. Honestly I think this deserves a recount... erm or rather that the mod should reconsider removing the link. Since it is a link and even has a disclaimer, anyone not wishing to see it can always stay away.

    I see no reason why something like happy tree friends can't be posted provided it has a warning. I've seen things equally bad (if not worse) posted here in the past, or are we suddenly stepping up our "think of the children!" campaign? Come on, its HAPPY TREE FRIENDS.
