My Fps Spikes On Certain Ns Maps

Hi, I'm new to these forums, and I was hoping some of you could provide me with some insight onto my problem. Ever since ns was moved onto steam, certain maps such as co_rebirth, ns_bast, parts of ns_metal, and ns_altair give me unusually low fps. My fps constantly spikes between 5-60 on these maps. I experience little/no lag on other maps, and i get a constant 60-70 fps, it's just the maps I named and maybe some I left out that lag me. If anyone has any information or solutions to my problem it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

its mostly poor designs in those certain areas, happens all the time, even with the best mappers. altair i can and can't believe anyone would have that problem with.. its go no detail, but i can see mistakes bein made easily... bast is goin through a lot of changes, so nothing is really finalized/optimized. rebirth is well known about, and is kind of unexplainable whats goin on in there. were never any problems till the lower lvl was added. metal, this is the first time ive ever heard of fps probs with that map.
