    I think ince Version 3.0 u dont need the transparency dll... If so i think it goes with the client.dll... "I think"

    on steam.. you no longer need them.. on WON, they go in the origianal sierra/half-life/ directory...

    i use steam, and i had to download and manually install the DLLs to get transparencies to werk. i placed copies of the two DLLs in the main half-life directory, and in the DLLs directory, and after that, everything werked fine.
