Ns Stats Beta 1 Relased

<div class="IPBDescription">Its taken time but its finely here</div> NS Stats Beta 1 is finely released to the public. I have gotten the major kinks out of the code now. It can be downloaded from <a href='http://www.NSStats.com' target='_blank'>Natural Selection Stats</a>. Installation instructions are in the zip archive, and all technical support and help will be through the NS Stats Forums. This release includes the support for the future Natural Selection Global Stats System.

Bad idead using PHP Nuke, unless you'v got it fully patched up its rather easy to hack.

This is a temporary front end I am going to be writeing a whole new page in JSP. When the PHP pages come out you will no longer have to have cosole access to the webserver.

Yeah, there should be a demo. Like a "free tour", screenshots, or anything that makes you understand what it is. Because it's hard to get what your program actually is (except a "stats program"). Once I understand your project, I'll probably news it on NS-Fr anyway, because I remind a few parts about teamplay statistics etc.
By the way, what is the "Natural Selection Global Stats System" ?

Natural Selection Global Stats System will be a ranking system that will rank people all over the world using Steam ID's, it is planned to have several sections, competition, Stats, Gaming Center Information, Clan Rankings, Clan Stats. It will be the website for <a href='http://Http://www.NSStats.com' target='_blank'>Http://www.NSStats.com</a> once it is completed. The entire operation will be run from Steam ID's to help prevent spoofing.

I don't really find there to be a point in ranking people by their scores in NS because some people stat **** and others play for the objective of winning in NS and there's also the issue about people playing on bot servers getting ridiculously high kill/death ratios. Also, is this program going to send data from servers or from individual players?

It will be sending the data from servers. Also bots dont have legit steam ids so i can filter them out and kills related to them. The program wont be sening data to the global server if bots are on it.

Sounds pretty good but I still think you should only allow certain servers to give stats because some servers are just for newbs and if a vet comes in...yea lol

The way that it will end up... it will make no difference because the points that you will get will be scaled so that if a high ranking person kills a low ranking person then they will get less points but if a low ranking person kills a higher then they will get more point etc...
