I'm Done With Ns :(

<div class="IPBDescription">rant</div> I could make this a huge rant, but what would be the point?
I loved Natural Selection. I played it more than any other game. I created a custom crosshair pack for NS which obviously liked since you incorporated the idea into your own grenade launcher crrosshair. When you opened constellation I was one of the first to join, and would gladly do it again, except..... THEN you released 2.0
With it you also added code that overrides all software gamma controls, including the ones THAT COME WITH THE VIDEO CARDS, and resets to the Windows default setting. At that setting I can barely make out the menu screen for Steam. My monitor is very dark, the settings are already all the way up. I rely on the ability of software drivers to see anything at all while I am in a game. Not only is your game the ONLY GAME THAT DOES THIS but it also seems to be overiding any ability to adjust the gamma through Steam. The slider controls do absolutely nothing.
This is a known bug. It is in your bug list. I waited very patiently (and long) for the new release to come out hoping that there would be a fix to this GLARING oversight in the code. I was extremely dissapointed to say the least. It's not that you guys owe me anything, but the main point of making a game is so that people can play and enjoy it. I assume that is what you intend for NS.
I am not rich. I cannot afford to go out and by a new monitor just because one game is coded improperly. I am not running anything unusual either. I have an ATI 9700 pro (latest drivers) and use Powerstrip to adjust gamma. I will say this one last time because it bears repeating: This is the ONLY game I have run on this machine that exhibits this problem. My roommate reviews games for a living (www.apollolounge.com) so I get to play a lot of them.
I apologize if this comes off as a total rant. I absolutely adore your game and have been very hopeful of this new release. I guess I sound mad because this has been very dissapointing on MANY levels.
Normally I would not bother to write something like this but since I have been following this game since before it was released I felt I should let you know why a faithful fan has finally abandoned Natural Selection.

I'm fine with ns, and its the way it should be.
