You guys fixed the CO spawning system but totaly ignore the most important aspect of making a fun game..
Alien spawn rate in large games!!! Is it that hard? I mean it used to be fine in 2.01 its fine in CO why neglected NS classic, a once great game is being destroyed by such a simple problem...
After 3 hours of straight alien losses i feel like quiting NS as it just isn't fun..
And don't come here and post that NS is ment to be a 6 vs 6 game because thats utter **** apart from clan play majority of players spend their time in larger servers.

This is the 2nd or 3rd post about this topic i have made with ways of fixing it, a lot of other people have made similar suggestion and the dev team keeps ignoring there player base..

1 marine can easily kill a skulk can take 2 at once with some skill and the really good guys can take 3.
When the game get that large res is slow so the higher life forms come alot latter whilst the marines are rolling in res with there big shinny upgrades.
Its just plain retarted.
The game is going to die i see it every day people are getting feedup and leaving the game play is becoming totaly stagnet.
TBH if the marines don't succeed in putting half the alien team on the spawn queue at least once in a while on a 10-10 12-12 game, the marines suck. But even though they suck they probably still would win due to the slow res flow on the aliens.
Maybe the aliens were overpowered in beta6 and they felt the need to change the respawn rate?
Maybe it wasn't easy enough for the marines to kill a hive because of the respawning skulks?
Maybe some of the devs really, really hate the Kharaa?

and if a good marine can kill three skulks, they must haved sucked because they attacked him in the wrong place.

of course there are things wrong with it! otherwise it wouldn't be beta, now would it?
I'm sure all of this will be corrected in the next beta, if it's really this big of a problem.

I feel with you even though I don't think the spawn rate is the problem. Just as you said the res flow is way too slow in large games. We had like one hundred threads in the past which said this again and again.
Solution: Don't play classic until they tweak the res flow in large games. Maybe one day they will realize NS is no fun without players.
Please be patiënt, and go play classic or something.

So now we're up to <b>BETA</b> 5 of NS, and the trolls are just marching along again. I'm not here to flame you kabab, and you are most certainly entitled to your opinion, however just try to remember that NS is beta, NS is still being tweaked and worked on. I'm sure that when final is completed, yes there will be aspects that people do not like--and they will leave the NS community for a different game.
My point here is that the dev team does know what they are doing (either that or they are all monkies that have been taught to code <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> ) and that bug fixes come BEFORE gameplay tweaks.
We still have our share of fun
NS is designed for 6 v 6. 7, 8, MAYBE 9. but 10 vs 10+ is just not the done thing.
you are asking them to fix something that this game is not designed for. yeah, sure, people choose to play on these servers, but thats their damn problem, not the devs. let's fix a spawn system that dosnt need fixing. while were at it, let's give the onos a 700 dmg gore. or marines a hmg that does 100 dmg a bullet.

you want a quicker spawn system for 14 vs 14 servers? go bug voogru to make a plugin for you. leave the rest of us to play our quality, non deathmatchy, take a while to finish and leave a nice feeling in my "tummy" games.
I said it before, I'll say it again: The devs are not excluded from the rules. Flaming one of them (I can't really be counted in here since I don't partake design decisions on any recognizeable scale) is as much a breach of the guidelines you agreed to when entering these boards as a flame towards any other poster would be. If you want to voice your criticism of the game, approach us as you would want to be approached yourself.
Additionally, please check whether your point is already made in another topic - I acknowledged the issue of big game balance <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=79648&st=0' target='_blank'>myself</a> not even three days ago. We're aware of the issue. It will be analyzed, and fixed.
