<div class="IPBDescription">hi-res pics?</div> while browsing though SA's comedy goldmines, i discovered an AWESOME (imo) background

problem is, it is a low-res pic

since i dont have the money to become a goon, im asking here;

do they have hi-res pics of stuff?
and if they do, where is it?
(i have looked in their forums, but didnt find anything)

    if the strider is from the hl2 trailer footage, then that is about the highest resolution youll find! the artist couldve stretched the strider but it would look fuzzy in comparison to the higher res hillside.

    so until someone owning HL2 were to actually get that far in the game and take a highres snapshot, it wont happen.

    The strider was in the leak buddy, guess we shouldn't be discussing it though.

    edit: can someone point me to where i can find a regular version of the background on xp? I'll go ahead and make my own version.

    Alright, the picture of the strider I used in the wallpaper was actually released.

    edit: yeah, the bottom part is bad and I didn't put any shadows. i probably would have been more willing to do it if the base wallpaper was any larger. otherwise it seems pretty useless.
